| Terry has spent most of his career in the travel industry primarily with British Airways where he was Director of Marketing Communications and was responsible, globally, for BA’s communications strategy. After a spell at Hewlett Packard in the UK, he was at the helm of the Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour, where he turned the ladies’ tour into a successful business and encouraged companies such as American Express and Evian to be sponsors In 1998 , he co-founded CECTA with Gill Wilson. CECTA has played a major role in developing tourism to the countries of Central Europe by bringing together the private and public sector in an umbrella organization to create a single destination “Central Europe” where borders are not a barrier to travel and where the growth of tourism in the past eight years has grown faster than any other region in the world. |
