| Michael initially re-joined IMG in 1995 as Manager of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (DLGA). During this time he was instrumental in developing the DLGA business in Europe and Asia from a loss making operation into a successful, profit-making company with 22 full time academies and various sponsorship and corporate relationships. Whilst still overseeing the operations of DLGA, Michael’s role has since expanded considerably and he is now Head of the Sports Leisure and Tourism Business Unit. SLT covers the following areas; Stadium and Arena Group Tourism Consulting Group IMG Academies Golf Course Services Group (GCSG) The Golf Course Services Group (GCSG), which forms part of the IMG Golf Division, specialises in providing a fully integrated service to clients in the planning, design, construction, supervision, management and marketing of golf developments and concepts throughout the world. The group encompasses IMG’s involvement in the following areas: golf course design, management, marketing, golf advisory. |
