| The first 19 years of Marek Podstolski life were spent in the well known Polish ski resort Zakopane, where his father was in charge of the Polish Ski Federation. He has left Poland in 1963, to live and to be educated in Germany. Unhappy in his first profession (dental technician), he was educated as an airline dispatcher and was finally employed as a trouble-shooter world wide. Since 1972, he is working in his “final” profession – an international property consultant using his knowledge of languages: Polish, German, English and desend Russian and Spanish. In his profession as a property advisor and keen golfer, he has helped to build the famous Jack Nicklaus golf course, ”Güt Lärchenhof” host of the” Linde German Masters” and “Mercedes Benz Championship”. In 2007 he was unanimously voted the president of the PGA of Poland for second cadence. He is an honourable member of Polish golf courses: Toya Golf, PostoĹ‚owo and Sierra and an ordinary member of Gut Lärchenhof in Cologne. |
